Assisting DGI for the procurement process such as TEC, conformity of procured items etc.
Preparation of Annual Work Plan, Financial control and progress monitoring of financial provisions allocated to the branch.
Modernization, productivity improvement and implementation of 5s concept in mechanical divisions.
Coordinating and directing all mechanical engineers for professional review exam of IESL.
Update, review and getting approval of IESL for accreditation.
Representing DGI in the ministry and other departments in mechanical subjects as directed by DGI.
Assisting mechanical unit of the Ministry.
Research & Development for mechanical innovations relevant to maintenance of irrigation schemes.
Facilitating training and capacity building for subordinates.
